Consolidation of higher education
The implementation of the PDM resulted in the consolidation of higher education in the region through the training given to the students of the Program, so that they are able to act as multipliers of the knowledge acquired in the academic field and extend it to the rest of society, including the creation of new graduate programs that meet the demands existing in various parts of the region that includes the states of Pará and Amazonas, as well as other locations in the northern region of the country. This is seen with great enthusiasm by undergraduates and masters residing in areas away from major centers, which will not need to travel far from their city to pursue their studies.
